Segregated and Non-Segregated Bus Ducts

Segregated and non-segregated bus ducts are custom designed for low and medium voltage requirements. These bus duct designs meet specific continuous and short circuit current ratings of generating stations,substations and industrial distribution systems which can be installed indoors or outdoors and are fabricated and tested in GE’s bus duct facility.

Pre-assembled lengths are shipped to site and assembled in continuous bus runs. Non-ventilated bus ducts may be equipped with heaters for condensation control. Outdoor units are weatherproof.

Sheet-metal enclosures include:
  • Removable top or bottom covers
  • Insulated conductors
  • Ground bus (if required)
  • Bus support system
