  • Smallworld Repository software leverages your investment in Oracle tools for data management including database administration, backup and recovery.
  • Smallworld InSync ensures that live data in operational and other Oracle-based systems is available in the version-managed environment and vice-versa.
  • The Spatial Object Manager™ seamlessly integrates Oracle Spatial data into the Smallworld environment.
  • Smallworld on Oracle Workspace Manager™ (SOM) enables users to access and manage Oracle and Oracle Spatial version enabled tables from a Smallworld environment.

Smallworld Spatial Object Manager Plug-ins

These plug-ins provide access to data in a variety of formats including DXF, DGN, DWG, Shapefile and MrSID formats. The latest additions to our range of plug-ins include:

  • ECW from Earth Resource Mapping: A high-compression format for raster data
  • A wide range of image formats, including TIFF, PNG, JPEG, PCX, BMP and WMF
  • Web Map Server (WMS) format for interpreting data served over the Internet

Smallworld Mobile Data Server™

This software downloads a selected portion of the corporate database to run standalone on your laptop. You can then run the same applications in the field as you do in the office, with full design and analysis functionality. The Mobile Data Server program provides an invaluable data distribution mechanism, facilitating regional ownership and management of data, coping with unreliable or over-extended communications networks and enabling field workers to maintain and manipulate field data without having to learn a new application.
