Recip Impulse/Velocity Monitor
3500/70M Recip Impulse/Velocity Monitor
Configurable 4-channel monitor that can be used as part of a reciprocating compressor solutions package for monitoring compressor crankcase and crosshead vibration. The monitor accepts input from seismic transducers, conditions the signals, and compares the acceleration and/or velocity levels against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms. This monitor features special configuration and waveform sampling algorithms that are required to properly accommodate the impulsive-type signals generated by reciprocating compressor malfunctions, and should be used for all casing vibration measurements on recips rather than our general-purpose 3500/42M seismic monitor.
Rod Position Monitor
3500/72M Recip Rod Position Monitor
Configurable 4-channel monitor module that accepts proximity probe inputs and provides signal conditioning associated with reciprocating compressor piston rod position and vibration characteristics. The monitor is applicable to both conventional reciprocating compressors with pistons as well as hypercompressors with plungers, and is useful for rider band wear and other mechanical condition measurements.
Cylinder Pressure Monitor
3500/77M Recip Cylinder Pressure Monitor
Configurable 4-channel monitor module designed to work with our 165855 pressure transducer and an appropriate crank-angle signal from a 3500/25 KeyphasorŪ module. The monitor provides appropriate signal conditioning associated with reciprocating compressor cylinder performance characteristics to generate measurements such as suction and discharge pressures, peak rod tension and compression, degree of rod reversal, real-time pressure-volume (P-V) curves, and many others.
