Compressor Control

Reliable Compressor Controls Customized for Optimum Performance

Available for gas and steam turbine driven compressors as stand-alone or integrated system.

Overview
GE designs and manufactures a full compressor product line for upstream through downstream applications and has an installed based of thousands of units. Controls are available for the control, protection, and monitoring of these compressors and the gas and steam turbines that drive the compressors.
Control Platforms
Product Description
GE offers control upgrades for the installed base with the same technology used on new units. In addition, the compressor controls can be provided either as a standalone product or as an integrated turbine-compressor control (ITCC) for a cost-effective, efficient control system.

Integrated systems are available on Mark VI/VIe and Woodward MicroNet™ control platforms in simplex, dual, and triple redundant configurations according to your specific needs. I/O can be centrally mounted or distributed to integrate auxiliary systems and remote instrumentation.

GE also offers a wide range of Bently Nevada™ sensors, condition monitoring systems, and asset management products. These products can be seamlessly integrated with the overall control and protection system on modern Ethernet networks.

Value

GE compressor controls provide proven surge algorithms that allow maximum compressor operating range without compromising protection. When integrated with the turbine controls, they deliver a reliable "system" with rapid transient response in any configuration.

Operators have access to all system data in a common database from modern operator stations to make more informed decisions. Maintenance personnel benefit from high-resolution alarm management systems and diagnostic tools to quickly identify process faults and minimize mean-time-to-repair.
