Overview

GE designs and manufactures a full line of generator controls and protection systems for gas, steam, and hydro applications. The family of generator products can be installed individually or as part of an integrated system with full control, protection, and monitoring capability.

Most systems are commonly applied on both GE and non-GE generators worldwide.

EX2100 Excitation Controls

GE has delivered specialty exciter hardware platforms for decades. Today, the EX2100 excitation system offers a single control architecture across the range of excitation applications, for not only our new unit fleet, but as a flexible retrofit platform, as well.
