GE’s Optimization and Control business is excited to announce that we are now accepting customer credit cards for $USD purchases. This is a great way for our worldwide customers to simplify their ordering experience and receive some tangible transactional benefits.

This new credit card purchasing process offers our customers several benefits including:

  • Accelerated credit approvals
  • Reduced cycle time
  • Minimizes PO requests

  • Improved cash flow based on the terms with your credit card company

Is my credit card secure?
Yes, we follow the industry standard for payment card security and have passed an audit meeting the highest standards (VISA CISP) This is an industry standard and is not just for VISA.

How will you know that my credit card is valid?
We will validate the credit card once it is provided to your Customer Service Representative. The full amount of the order is not placed on the card until it is ready for shipping. We can only validate the available credit on the cardholders account at the time of shipment.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged when the order is shipped.

What will happen to my order if my credit card is declined?
We will notify you about using another payment method for this order in this case.

What is the maximum amount for credit card orders?
The maximum amount of your order is limited by the available credit on your card.

Is this available for all customers?

Currently we can accept orders from customers worldwide in US Dollars at all US locations. These include our Minden NV, Twinsburg OH, and Loveland CO locations.

What if my order is placed in a non-USD currency?
We are currently expanding our capabilities to include £GBP, $CAD and €EUR transactions. We plan to launch the additional currencies in the 1st half of 2009. In the interim, those orders can still be placed using our traditional payment methods.
