For Ferrous Pipes & Vessels
RTD Incotest surveys ferrous pipes and vessels for corrosion through thermal insulation. It works under demanding circumstances, such as while the plant is in operation, while pipes are hot (930 °F or 500 °C) or cold (150 °F or 100 °C) and while the object surface is rough or encrusted. It works even when the insulation is wet, irregular or inhomogeneous or reinforced with wire mesh.

Features & Benefits
- Detects corrosion under insulation
- Detects flow-accelerated corrosion
- Gauges the thickness of riser pipe walls without removing marine growth, neoprene or Monel
- Measures the dry wall thickness of dirty, coated, rough and/or hot objects
The RTD Incotest testing system offers:
- Speed: The inspection crew can obtain as many as 1,000 points per day
- Reliability: Operates over wide range of climactic conditions
- Convenience: Can work up to six hours on one battery pack
- Instant reporting: Provides instant site reporting through a measuring matrix format
- Safety: Robust design and electrically (not intrinsically) safe
- Accuracy: High reproducibility of readings (two percent) for trend analysis
