
What will I learn from this course?
This course offers an insight into the design philosophy, hardware and software of the Mark IV control system. The course also provides for hands on control and fuel system calibrations, alarm and hardware troubleshooting. More than 50% of the class time will be spent in the controls lab doing hands on exercises. The lectures and exercises will develop a thorough understanding of the equipment.

Qualified operators, engineers and technicians who wish to gain an understanding of the Mark IV Speedtronic™ gas turbine control system.
Prerequisites
- Basic understanding of gas turbine equipment and its operation
- Basic computer and test equipment skills
- Instruction is given in English; therefore, a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required
