Day 1

  • Introductions, Objectives and Expectations

    • The purpose of this module is to help you use knowledge of your own and others' preferences to maximize your own and your team's effectiveness.

  • Communication Model
    • The purpose of this module is to provide you with a reliable model that will help increase your ability to communicate effectively with others, both one on one and in team situations.

      • Apply a communication model to interactions
  • Positive Influence
    • The purpose of this module is to strengthen your ability to influence/persuade others in both one-on-one and team situations.

Day 2

  • Effective Teams
    • The purpose of this module is to emphasize the critical roles of teams and teamwork.
      • List the characteristics of a successful team
      • Describe the GRPI model
      • List the four stages of team development
  • Conflict Resolution
    • The purpose of this module is to explore and discuss the natural occurrence of conflict and develop constructive approaches to resolving conflict in team and business situations.
      • Recognize and understand conflict

      • Resolve conflict as appropriate to the situation

Day 3

  • Developing Individuals Through Effective Coaching
    • The purpose of this module is to stress the importance of the leader’s role as a coach and to provide tools and techniques for effective coaching.

      • Prepare adequately for coaching discussions
      • Apply the Communication Model (Reflect, Inquire, Advocate) to coaching situations
      • Demonstrate the use of effective feedback
