Roots* Positive Displacement Blowers

GE offers a complete line of Roots positive displacement blowers. Smaller blowers, 9-inch gear diameter and under, deliver reliable pressure and vacuum for just about any air and gas application for OEM and general industrial customers. Larger blowers, both air and gas, feature gear diameters of 10-36 inches, (25.4-100 cm) are built for purpose for individual customer requirements. Roots blowers feature our proprietary WHISPAIR* technology, delivering lower pulse and quieter operation than conventional blowers.

  • URAI, RAM and RCS – Industrial -duty rotary blowers designed for adaptability to either vertical or horizontal installation requirements.

  • DVJ/DPJ – Enhanced vacuum & pressure with reduced noise and power.

  • RAS-J - Air blower featuring 10” through 20” (25.4 thru 50.8 cm) gear diameters. All units available with Splash Lubrication or True Pressure Lubrication. All sizes feature the original WHISPAIR* plenum to reduce the pulse & strain on your piping system.

  • RGS-J - Heavy-duty gas blowers designed for continuous service in demanding process applications.

  • VJ & VJ2 – The water sealed vacuum pump used in many industries for vacuum filtration and drying, pneumatic conveying and materials handling and for creating vacuum for environmental testing and chemical processing. Uses much less water than liquid ring type pumps.

  • RAMX and TRI-NADO* TM Tri-lobe blowers - feature Roots WHISPAIR* technology combined with tri-lobe impellers to deliver quieter operation.
