Standalone Power & Comms. SemStar5-R can act as a standalone power and communications interface to support instrumentation upgrades or remote instruments while utilizing the existing control system infrastructure

Communications hub. As a subsea data hub, SemStar5-R serves as a communications gateway, supporting in-field distribution architectures which require distributed data routing and communications media conversion

Distributed controls. Acting as a traditional multiplexing hydraulic controller, in conjunction with a mini hydraulic control module, SemStar5-R can be used to operate subsea equipment requiring a limited number of control and monitoring functions Brownfield upgrades.

Brownfield upgrades. SemStar5-R can be used to facilitate brownfield upgrades, enabling easy integration of additional functionality and staged upgrades of field hardware

Wiring Inspection. 100% Inspection of all joints, fittings, wires and motherboards, Inspected to IPC 610/620 class 3

Vibration testing. SEM's Vibrated and qualified to Latest ISO standards, All three Axis shaken whilst fully functional tested, Ability to give Electronic units shock tests

Temperature testing. SEM's Thermally tested and qualified to Latest ISO standards, 24 Hour Temp cycling followed by 48 hour 'BURN IN', Units fully functionally tested during period of test

Automatic Test Equipment. Simulates all inputs and outputs of the SEM during functional testing

Hyperbaric test of SEM Vessel. Hyperbaric Tests Performed on SEM and communicated to through top of pressure vessel
