A short nominal stroking distance, high alignment capacity and high in-place connector load capacity combine to make our HCCS well suited for large-bore pipe-spool connections.
For large pipelines. The patented Lift & Shift deployment configuration can be used to eliminate the need for large PLETs/pipeline sleds through the pipelay vessel’s tensioners.
Our HCCS design includes a swivel feature to accommodate connection of flexible flowlines, as well as a stab and hinge-over (S&HO) version for umbilical connections. The HCCS utilizes our standard range of clamp connectors, available in a wide variety of sizes, and applying GE’s well proven metal sealing technology.
