Becker* Pneumatic Valve Actuators
Becker valve actuators are designed for heavy-duty control applications that require high performance. The RPDA and RPSR Series include a crank-arm mechanism specifically designed for the rigors of throttling control valve applications. The SYDA and SYSR Series use a scotch-yoke design with high torque output at the ends of travel. Both designs are offered in a double-acting or spring-return setup. The LPDA and LPSR can accept high pressure power supply gas up to 400 psig (2,758 kPa) for the LPSR and 500 psig (3447 kPa) for the LPDA, enabling the use of smaller actuators or GE Oil & Gas’ proprietary BeckerBleed to Pressure System (BPS)™ feature.
Features & Benefits
-
RPDA - a rugged, quarter-turn actuator design for the rigors or aggressive throttling service.
-
RPSR - is typically used when applications require the control valve to fail open or fail closed upon loss of power supply gas.
-
SYDA - is typically used when applications require lock last failure mode.
-
SYSR - features a compact design that is convenient when installation space is a premium.
-
LPDA – is designed for heavy-duty control applications that require optimum performance.
-
LPSR – well suited for heavy-duty control valve applications that require high-pressure power gas, or high-speed operation.
