The ZeeWeed 500 membrane can be used globally for drinking water, wastewater, water reuse and desalination applications.

Each module contains thousands of vertically strung membrane fibers that have millions of microscopic pores in each strand. Water is filtered by applying a slight vacuum to the end of each fiber, which draws the water through the tiny pores and into the fibers themselves. The pores form a physical barrier that allows clean water to pass through while blocking unwanted material such as suspended solids, bacteria, pathogens and certain viruses.

• Hollow strands of porous plastic fibers with billions of microscopic pores on the surface are reinforced for strength and capable of holding 50 kg of weight.
• Removable modules simply slide and lock into place for quick visual inspection.
• Hollow fiber geometry provides a greater filtration surface area that reduces plant footprint and more effectively distributes cleaning solutions.
• Cassettes are fully integrated with permeation and aeration connections minimizing loose components and external connections.
