Head Tension Unit (HTU)
Run below the telemetry or memory tool, the standard HTU measures Head Tension up to 1800kg and compression up to 600kg.
The Tension can be recorded as a log and is also capable of operating an alarm on suitable systems. When using Coiled Tubing, the ability to detect and measure compression can help avoid toolstring damage if an obstruction is encountered.
