Free Point Indicator
The GE Freepoint Pipe recovery tool is an electromechanical tool designed to measure the amount of torque or stretch of a given length of tubing, drill pipe or casing.
During the course of drilling or workover, the work string can become stuck in the borehole. Saving the well and reducing expense means freeing the stuck assemblies quickly and efficiently.
The Free Point tool determines how much of the stuck assembly may be freed by identifying the depth at which pipe is stuck.
