The Outage Services team performs re-fuel floor services, under-vessel services, tooling and maintenance, and breaker and motor generator refurbishments. The 360-degree work platform ensures access to BWR internals; modular sections allow customization; easy disassembly, storage; savings with each outage. Vacuum canister sipping system identifies leaks that have previously gone undetected in PWR and BWR fuel assemblies.
The Inspection Technology Services team provides in- and under-vessel maintenance, inspections and advanced tooling. The GEH Bridge-Free Tooling portfolio helps reduce critical path time and personnel dose exposure while improving outage performance. With remote-operated visual inspection technology and real-time capabilities, GEH ensures that problems are resolved faster, resulting in considerable cost savings.
The Reactor Modifications team provides a range of in-vessel repairs and modifications. The Alloy 600 PWR Repair Services offers older plants a portfolio of services that extend plant and equipment lifetime. These time-tested services provided by the GEH expert field force have been proven in BWR plants. GEH teams are now ready to be deployed to PWR plants.
Specialty Projects provides full scope project management for dry fuel services. Utilities that have traditionally used several contracts to manage the multi-step dry cask storage process now have an alternative that decreases costs and increases accountability and safety.
Parts Solutions Services can prepare equipment for another generation of service. These include the economical Marathon control rod, blade, and drive system; custom fabrication of mechanical parts and fuel-handling systems; a range of electrical distribution equipment; robust ML-13 control switches; and Nuclear Measurement Analysis and Control (NUMAC) rep
