The AltairSupernovafiltration system utilizes the very latest in filtration and materials technology. The system’s modular nature makes it ideally suited to large and small turbines alike; AltairSupernova modules can be quickly assembled to create a complete filterhouse and tailored to meet site-specific requirements.

For turbines operating in high dust-load environments such as deserts or other extremely contaminated atmospheres, GE offers the AltairLibrapulse™. This self-cleaning system allows continuous operation at a low and stable pressure drop, even when subjected to very high levels of particulate. A key feature is the system’s adaptability - it can be supplied in a variety of configurations to enable optimum use of available plant space. Filter cartridges are available with various media options including Nanomedia technology, fully synthetic media, and a synthetic/cellulose blend.
